DiGS (an acronym for Digital Graduate Scholars) is a multidisciplinary group of doctoral students at the University of Pittsburgh. A shared interest in using, and investigating, digital tools in our research forms the backbone of our monthly meetings, which can incorporate workshops, project critiques, tutorials, and general discussion.

Originally organized by myself and Aisling Quigley in the spring of 2016, and with the help of S.E. Hackney beginning in the fall of 2016, the group is run collaboratively, with the goal of addressing the research questions and interests of each of the members as equally as possible. Meeting space and tech accommodations are generously provided by Hillman Library’s Digital Scholarship Services.
